EMDR Intensives

Deep healing in less time

Sometimes weekly therapy just isn't enough to get to the root of what's keeping you stuck. If you've been doing the work but still feel like something isn't shifting- or if you simply don't have time for months of weekly sessions — an EMDR intensive might be exactly what you need.

I offer EMDR intensives in Littleton, CO, with virtual options available across Colorado. As an EMDRIA-certified therapist with nearly a decade of EMDR experience, I've helped adults move through childhood trauma, relational wounds, and stuck PTSD responses in a fraction of the time that weekly therapy requires.

What Is an EMDR Intensive?

An EMDR intensive is an extended, focused session (or series of sessions) that allows us to go deeper than a traditional 50-minute therapy hour allows. Rather than picking up and putting down the same wound week after week, we have the time and space to actually move through it.

In an intensive, we combine EMDR therapy with parts work and attachment-focused techniques to address not just the memories themselves, but the internal patterns and beliefs that formed around them. The result is often a level of progress that would take months in weekly therapy — accomplished in a single day or weekend.

Is an EMR Intensive Right for You?

An intensive may be a good fit if you:

  • Are ready to work through specific issues more quickly than weekly therapy allows

  • Feel stuck or plateaued in your current therapy work, even if you’ve made some progress

  • Want to explore attachment wounds or childhood trauma in a concentrated, supportive setting

  • Have a busy schedule or prefer fewer sessions with deeper focus over ongoing weekly commitments

  • Are new to EMDR and want a meaningful jump-start

  • Have already done EMDR and want to revisit or deepen the work

  • Live outside the Littleton or Denver area and want to travel for an immersive experience

What to Expect from an EMDR Intensive in Colorado

Every intensive I offer is tailored to you. Your history, your nervous system, and your goals. Here's how the process generally works:

Before your intensive: We'll meet for an introductory session to identify what we're working on, make sure you have the stabilization tools you need, and create a personalized workbook to guide you through the process.

During your intensive: Depending on the package you choose, we'll spend three to six focused hours doing EMDR processing, with breaks built in so your system has time to integrate. In-person intensives in Littleton include comfort items, snacks, and for full-day sessions, a catered lunch.

After your intensive: We'll meet for a follow-up session to close out the work, support integration, and discuss next steps. Full-day intensives include extended email and text support after our time together.

Why Work With Me

I'm Charity Rauls, a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist based in Littleton, Colorado. I've been doing EMDR since 2016 and specialize in working with adults navigating childhood trauma, complex PTSD, and relational wounds. I'm also IFS-informed (Internal Family Systems), which I integrate into intensives to help clients work with all the parts of themselves that show up in the healing process.

My approach is attuned, paced, and deeply relational — not clinical or assembly-line. You'll leave feeling held, not just processed.
